Maverick Gaming Enters Into Agreement To Purchase Egads!
Maverick Gaming announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase Egads! LLC, from Carole Carter.
Founded more than twenty years ago, Egads! is an industry leading supplier of signage; custom lighting and audio/visual systems; unique architectural features incorporating sculpting, mold making, metals, acrylics, glass and other proprietary materials and processes. Designer’s, Architect’s and Owner’s ideas for specialty environmental features become reality with the expertise of the e-gads! team. e-gads! provides services to casinos, entertainment venues, retail facilities and hospitality companies throughout the United States and international locations. e-gads! environmental slot/gaming signage has been engaged by every major slot manufacturing company from IGT, Sci Games, GTech, Konami and Aristocrat and others.
“We will be hard pressed to improve on the customer experience Carole has delivered her customers over the last twenty years, but we are very excited to inherit this talented team and look forward to expanding her customer base even further” said Justin Beltram, COO of Maverick Gaming.
“This is a critical purchase for Maverick as we begin building a nationwide brand of gaming that only Maverick Gaming can deliver. Over the next several months Maverick will start to rebrand the nineteen card rooms we own in Washington and consolidate that portfolio into four distinct brands: Maverick Casino, Aces Poker, Dragon Tiger Casino and Macau Legend Casino. This will allow for effective brand marketing in various media platforms as well as industry leading brands that will build customer loyalty” said Eric Persson, owner of Maverick Gaming.
“We will also rebrand our assets in Nevada, Colorado and Louisiana, and Egads! talented team will play a large role in our successful rollout. Egads! demonstrated expertise in casino remodels, interior and exterior signage and general casino support is world renown and will be an enormous strategic partner to Maverick” added Justin.
This transaction is expected to close by the end of the 1st quarter of this year.

Arizona Department of Gaming Reports $44.9 Million in Tribal Gaming Contributions for Q2 FY 2026
The Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG) has officially announced a total of $44,891,270 in tribal gaming contributions to the Arizona Benefits Fund for the second quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 2026. This performance marks an approximate 5.6 percent increase compared to the same period in FY 2025, signaling continued strength in the state’s tribal gaming sector.
These contributions are vital to the state’s infrastructure, supporting everything from classroom improvements to emergency medical services.
“The financial support that tribal gaming provides the state of Arizona continues to power local and statewide needs that are vital to healthy and safe communities,” said Jackie Johnson, Director of the ADG. “With nearly $45 million in tribal gaming contributions in the most recent period, the Department is proud to ensure the continuation of important revenue streams that positively impact Arizonans.”
Where the Money Goes: The Arizona Benefits Fund
Under the Arizona Tribal-State Gaming Compact, 88 percent of all tribal gaming contributions are directed into the Arizona Benefits Fund. This revenue is strictly allocated to high-priority state initiatives.
