Aristocrat’s Southern Nevada operations Achieve 100% Renewable Energy Milestone
Aristocrat Technologies has announced that it has successfully transitioned its Southern Nevada operations to 100% renewable energy, through participation in NV Energy’s GreenEnergy Rider program. The transition aligns Aristocrat’s Nevada operations with the state’s renewable energy targets.
“Reaching 100% renewable energy for our Southern Nevada operations is an important milestone in Aristocrat’s sustainability journey. By partnering with NV Energy through the GreenEnergy Rider program, we are able to accelerate our progress toward our carbon reduction goals while supporting the growth of renewable infrastructure in Nevada. This achievement reflects our commitment to operating responsibly globally and in the communities in which we operate and creating long-term value for our stakeholders,” said Harry Ashton, Group General Manager of Sustainability for Aristocrat.
Aristocrat is one of only four companies in the state participating in this program in 2026, and the only slot manufacturer, as well as the sole Southern Nevada–based participant. Early enrollment has enabled the company to secure renewable energy at a time when rising demand, driven in part by rapid growth in artificial intelligence and data centers, is putting pressure on clean energy supply.
“Our goal is to provide clean energy programs to the community while also strengthening our renewable portfolio goals. Ultimately, programs like the GreenEnergy Rider give companies like Aristocrat the ability to achieve 100% renewable energy, while we continue to invest in and grow Nevada’s clean energy future,” said Jared Bilberry, NV Energy’s Program Development Director.
By enrolling in NV Energy’s GreenEnergy Rider program, Aristocrat has secured 4954 megawatt-hours (MWh) of renewable energy for its Summerlin North American headquarters and Las Vegas Integration Center in Henderson, contributing to the state’s 34% renewable energy requirement. The company supplements the remainder of its electricity needs with additional renewable resources and credits, ensuring that its Southern Nevada facilities operate entirely on renewable energy sources.
Aristocrat’s participation involves paying a renewable resource rate (RRR), which reflects NV Energy’s cost to procure and dedicate renewable generation while maintaining full bundled electric service. This structured approach allows Aristocrat to achieve its sustainability goals without needing to independently procure power or leave the utility service.
NV Energy secures, manages, and delivers the renewable energy on Aristocrat’s behalf, and tracks and retires the renewable energy credits (RECs) associated with Aristocrat’s participation. The retirement process verifies that the environmental benefits are attributed exclusively to Aristocrat’s energy use.
The Southern Nevada transition adds to Aristocrat’s renewable energy contracts covering its Sydney and Australian Integration Center locations, and supports the company’s carbon reduction goals.

Hasbro Strikes New Multi-Year Casino Licensing Partnerships
Hasbro, a leading games, IP, and toy company, announced a new slate of multi-year licensing partnerships aimed at transforming and expanding its most popular brands across the casino category. After a comprehensive review and market evaluation, Hasbro has selected Aristocrat Technologies, Evolution, Galaxy Gaming, and Bally’s as its newest partners in casino licensing. The new partners join existing licensee Sciplay.
The announcement underscores Hasbro’s “Playing to Win” strategy, revealed in February 2025, which focuses on innovation, partnerships, and bringing beloved brands to life across more formats than ever.

Hasbro has a nearly 30-year history of licensing its age-appropriate IP to the gambling sector. With this new lineup of partners, the company is expanding access to entertainment experiences that reimagine its brands for a growing base of adult fans and gamers.
Following is the list of partners:
• Aristocrat Technologies – B2B manufacturer land-based slot machines (MONOPOLY)
• Evolution – B2B developer for online slots and live casino (MONOPOLY, Hasbro Games)
• Galaxy Gaming – B2B developer and manufacturer for casino table games (MONOPOLY, YAHTZEE, BATTLESHIP)
• Bally’s – B2C Online casino operator (MONOPOLY)
With new titles launching in January 2026, adult fans will see some of Hasbro’s beloved brands integrated into new and existing casino formats, including land-based gaming slots, online gaming slots, casino table games, and online casinos.

Context Networks Enters into API Agreement with Aristocrat Technologies
Context Networks Inc., a programmatic advertising platform that leverages private blockchain technology to deliver advertising solutions for the gaming industry, has entered into an API Agreement with Aristocrat Technologies, a global leader in gaming technology, as part of Aristocrat’s Developer Partnership Program. This agreement will allow Context Networks to integrate its Contextual Promotions Media Network (CPMN) with Aristocrat’s future casino management system, Oasis 360 v15.3. The integration will enable operators to deliver personalized promotions across multiple platforms, including Aristocrat’s OneLink digital signage, LED table signs, and nCompass media displays.
As a Developer Partner, Context Networks will work with Aristocrat to ensure the CPMN is fully tested and compatible with Aristocrat’s systems. The API integration will enable the development of apps that allow players to interact with gamified offers, redeem digital coupons, and share promotions via social media or messaging apps, elevating the joy and power of play to a new level.

The API Agreement focuses on Aristocrat’s upcoming Oasis 360 v15.3, currently under development. By leveraging Aristocrat’s future API capabilities, Context Networks’ CPMN will offer gaming operators a turnkey, cloud-hosted advertising solution that allows for dynamic, context-based promotions without additional hardware or software investments. This integration gives gaming operators an innovative tool to engage players and drive non-gaming revenue streams.

Aristocrat Secures Preliminary Injunction in Trade Secret Misappropriation Case Against Light & Wonder
Aristocrat Technologies, a leading global provider of gaming solutions, has achieved a significant legal victory in Aristocrat’s case against Light & Wonder (L&W) concerning infringement of Aristocrat’s intellectual property, including misappropriation of Aristocrat’s trade secrets in connection with L&W’s Dragon Train game.
On September 23, 2024, Judge Gloria M. Navarro of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada issued a decision granting Aristocrat’s motion for a preliminary injunction on its trade secret claims against L&W. The court enjoined L&W from “any continued or planned sale, leasing, or other commercialization of Dragon Train”.
The court’s decision finds that Aristocrat is “extremely likely to succeed in demonstrating L&W misappropriated Aristocrat’s trade secrets in (L&W’s) development of Dragon Train”. The court recognized that, by misappropriating trade secrets relating to Aristocrat’s market-leading Dragon Link and Lightning Link games, L&W “was able to develop Dragon Train without investing the equivalent time and money”. In granting the preliminary injunction, the court noted “the public interest in protecting trade secrets and preventing competitors from receiving an unfair advantage”.
“We are extremely pleased with the court’s decision. This ruling underscores the value of our intellectual property and reaffirms our commitment to protecting the integrity of our business. Aristocrat will continue pursuing its case against L&W in the US, and will seek all appropriate remedies to address the harm caused by L&W’s actions. Separately, earlier this year the Federal Court of Australia granted Aristocrat pre-suit discovery against L&W and Aristocrat continues to consider its legal options in Australia. The company also looks forward to moving ahead with its innovation-driven mission and continuing to deliver best-in-class products to its customers worldwide.
