EGT opens Netherlands office in Den Bosch
EGT has officially opened a new office in the Netherlands in ’s-Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch). The launch was marked with an event on May 13 attended by representatives of local operators, partner companies and industry professionals, the company said.
Guests toured the office showroom and were introduced to EGT’s latest land-based and iGaming solutions offered on the Dutch market.
Yuliana Ilieva, Director of EGT Netherlands, said: “I would like to thank everyone who is here with us tonight to celebrate this milestone for EGT Netherlands. The opening of the office in Den Bosch – the capital of North Brabant province and a strategic location in the country – is an important step for EGT and clearly states the company’s long-term commitment to this market, where we already have a strong footprint in both the land-based and online segments. Our new local presence will allow us to be closer to our current and future clients and to develop our partnerships here even more effectively. Despite the challenges of the highly regulated Dutch gaming environment, we are confident that our personal approach to each customer, combined with our products, developed specifically for the Netherlands, will contribute to the growth and success of both our and operators’ business.”
Nadia Popova, Chief Revenue Officer and VP Sales & Marketing at EGT, added: “We see enormous potential in the Dutch market and are ready to invest in our sustainable development here. I believe that our new office, with its strategic location and talented and dedicated team, will play a key role in achieving our main goals of expanding and solidifying EGT’s positions as a preferred gaming provider in the country.”

All Eyes on Football: EGT Team Picks
EGT launches World Cup 2026 social series “All Eyes on Football: EGT Team Picks”
Employees from EGT’s in-house football team will publish match predictions via social media activations during the tournament.
Euro Games Technology (EGT) is rolling out a World Cup 2026 social media initiative called “All Eyes on Football: EGT Team Picks,” featuring match predictions from members of the company’s employee football team.
EGT said the activations will run during the tournament and focus on selected key matches, football nations and the knockout stages. The company plans interactive content that lets audiences compare their picks with the team’s predictions.
EGT’s football team was founded in 2006 and includes employees across departments. “What started as colleagues gathering to play football after work gradually became an important part of the company culture,” shares Nikolay Georgiev, Production Director at EGT, captain, striker and coach of the EGT football team.
Georgiev added: “Football helps us build strong relationships and better communication between different teams. We understand each other more easily, sometimes even without words. Besides being professionals in their respective fields, this initiative will show that we also know how to have fun together while following one of the biggest sporting events in the world.”
The company named eight team members who will provide predictions: Nikolay Georgiev (Production Director), Blagovest Tsenov (Senior Supply Specialist), Antoan Vasilev (Production Coordinator), Rafaelo Markov (Deputy Unit Manager), Hristo Velchev (Unit Manager), Angel Angelov (Production Manager), Tsvetоslav Dimitrov (Electronics Technician) and Konstantin Tsvetkov (QA Engineer). EGT said it will introduce the participants over the coming weeks, alongside their roles and interests outside work.

Casino Haspenna
EGT made its first installation in Iceland
EGT’s gaming equipment is now available in Iceland. The company has carried out its first installation at the biggest gaming establishment in the country – Casino Haspenna in Reykjavik. The venue operated under a license from Happdraetti Haskola Islands (University of Iceland Lottery), now offers its guests the opportunity to try their luck with the bestseller Bell Link, which is housed in the popular General Series cabinets G 27-27 ST.
Players are able to choose between the hit titles from the Bell Link 1 and Bell Link 2 mixes. The two lower jackpot levels – Mini and Minor, are stand-alone and individual for each machine, while the higher Grand and Major levels are common for all EGT cabinets in the casino floor, thus creating even greater chances to win big.
“We are pleased to establish our presence on the Icelandic market and consider this installation a significant milestone for our company,” commented Madlen Matevosian, Business Development Manager at EGT. “The installation process and overall cooperation have been very positive, and we highly appreciate the professionalism, support, and collaborative approach of the team of the University of Iceland Lottery. We are confident that our products have strong potential in the region and believe this partnership builds a strong foundation for long-term cooperation.”
Given the selective and regulated gaming environment in Iceland, this installation represents an important strategic step for EGT and further validates the enormous potential of the company’s products in the region.
Arna Ómarsdóttir, Director Operation at the University of Iceland Lottery, also expressed her positive expectations: “We welcome EGT as a new vendor and view this as a positive step in further strengthening our gaming offering. We’re particularly excited to see how their machines will be received on our floor, as this is exactly the kind of addition that keeps our gaming experience fresh and compelling for players.”
