IGSA to Co-host Cyber Security Workshop with the Etail & Hospitality ISAC (RH-ISAC)
The International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA) is to co-host a cyber security workshop in conjunction with the Retail & Hospitality ISAC (RH-ISAC). This event takes place at the Wynn Las Vegas on Thursday, October 10, at 11:30 a.m. PST.
The Retail & Hospitality ISAC is a secure place for retail and hospitality companies to share cybersecurity information and intelligence in order to not only better protect their own companies, but to also strengthen the entire sectors. The RH-ISAC has over 300 Core Members (retailers, restaurants, hotels, gaming casinos, food retailers, consumer products, and other consumer-facing companies) sharing threat information so others can learn, grow, and continue to mature.
“We are delighted to have IGSA be a part of the return of the RH-ISAC Gaming Workshop to Las Vegas. The workshop will include interactive discussion sessions, threat briefings, and the sharing of leading practices centered on the topic of building secure products for the gaming industry,” said Luke Vander Linden, RH-ISAC VP, Membership & Marketing.
IGSA President Mark Pace said: “IGSA is very excited to be a part of this cyber security workshop where we can highlight the Best Practices that IGSA’s Cyber Resiliency Committee is developing. We believe that working together as an industry and in conjunction with our Regulatory Authority partners, we as the gaming industry can be better prepared to deal with the ever-evolving cyber threats.”
