WWE special guest Rob Van Dam (RVD) will headline party Saturday, April 18

On Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, the Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas will host WrestleMania 42 viewing parties with special perks each night.

Newly added: All guests at the Plaza’s WrestleMania 42 viewing party on Sunday, April 19, can enter a free raffle to win two tickets to WWE Monday Night RAW on Monday, April 20, at T-Mobile Arena in one of the venue’s premier Loge Boxes.

On Saturday, April 18, the Plaza will offer an exclusive fan experience with WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Rob Van Dam. Known as RVD and “Mr. Monday Night,” the world champion and pro wrestling icon will be the Plaza’s special guest leading a live Q&A at 1:30 p.m. before the action of WrestleMania 42 begins at 3 p.m., and he be available for autographs and photo ops.

Both nights, the Plaza’s viewing party will be held in its showroom where guests can relax in its classic velvet booths or at one of its many tables that all offer a great view of WrestleMania 42 on an oversized high-definition projector screen.

The Plaza’s viewing parties are open to guests 21 years of age or older and start at 3 p.m. with doors opening at 1 p.m. The parties will also offer drink specials and buckets of beer ($30 for domestic brands, $35 for imported).

Tickets and seat selection for the viewing parties are available for purchase online for $40 (plus fees and taxes) per person.

Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas says it will be the first Las Vegas property to debut Bluberi’s new Smokin’ Train video slot game, with the launch set for April 22.

“We are committed to bringing to the Plaza’s casino floor the latest and greatest games with Bluberi’s Smokin’ Train being our newest addition,” said Sue Ascanio, general manager of the Plaza Hotel & Casino. “Relatively new to the Las Vegas market, Bluberi is offering exciting video slot options that we think will have a loyal following very quickly. So, we are excited to partner with them as they expand their installations in Vegas. Based on the feedback we have so far, we are confident that Smokin’ Train will be highly popular with players at the Plaza.”

Smokin’ Train is a five-reel, 50-line video slot with multiple denominations and a top award of a progressive $10,000, according to the company. The title is themed around the Wild West Gold Rush and includes a Triple Pot Filler mechanic featuring mystery door reveals, combining pots, and a Super Nugget feature that triggers all pots.

In the Hold & Spin bonus, players collect enhancements from train cars to boost, collect, or add cash balls. The Plaza’s announcement comes as suppliers continue to compete for floor space and visibility in the Las Vegas market, where new-game debuts can serve as a bellwether for broader regional rollouts across North America.
