Blazesoft announced that it has been awarded the Great Place to Work certification after a comprehensive evaluation conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute Canada. This prestigious certification is a testament to Blazesoft’s outstanding workplace culture, as determined by direct feedback from employees through an extensive and anonymous survey.

Governor Kevin Stitt announced his plan to make sports betting a reality in Oklahoma. The Governor’s plan, which would allow Oklahomans to place in-person bets at gaming sites operated by federally recognised tribes, would protect tribal investments in brick-and-mortar facilities.

Genius Sports announced that it has been awarded a temporary gaming license by the Maine Gambling Control Unit (MGCU). Genius Sports now holds 43 licenses, or equivalent, in North America across US states, territories, tribes and Canada, providing its award-winning products and services to leading sportsbooks.

UK-listed gambling company Entain revealed that US fund management group Dodge & Cox has doubled its stake. The investment, which took its shareholding from 5.01% to 10.33%, took place on the same day Entain reported an update for the third quarter, during which group net gaming revenues rose 7% year-on-year.

Better Collective has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Toronto-based Playmaker Capital, a leading digital sports media group that owns and operates a number of strong sports media brands in the US, Canada and across South America.

BetMGM, a leading iGaming and sports betting operator, announced that Borgata Arcade is now available at Borgata Online in New Jersey. Borgata Arcade is the new home for fun, engaging and feature-packed non-traditional iGaming content such as LuckyTap, Slingo, scratch games and game-themed slots.

NorthStar Gaming Holdings announced that its CFO Jennifer Barber will resign from the Company effective December 1, 2023 to pursue another opportunity. At that time, Chin Dhushenthen, currently the Company’s Vice President, Finance and Compliance, will assume the role of Interim CFO.

AppsFlyer announced its acquisition of devtodev, a full-cycle data analytics solution for game and app developers. This strategic acquisition bolsters AppsFlyer’s core offerings and marks a significant step in the development of the new AppsFlyer Privacy Cloud Marketplace.

Sports wagering is live in Maine, and Caesars Entertainment Inc. announced that its flagship sports wagering platform, Caesars Sportsbook, is accepting sports wagers on mobile and desktop in the Pine Tree State.

Following an initial alliance focused towards the Romanian region earlier in the year, the iGaming supplier’s latest venture concerns Malta Gaming Authority covered regions as well as the aforementioned Latin American region.

Aristocrat Gaming has introduced the first official emoji brand slot machine, emoji ALL STARS. Following its industry unveiling at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas, the for-sale, multi-level progressive game featuring iconic emoji brand icons, alongside Aristocrat all-star characters, is sure to delight and engage players in a new way.
