TAPPP Named to Fast Company’s List of World’s Most Innovative Companies
TAPPP, a fast-growing technology and marketing company focused on delivering enhanced sports viewing experiences and flexible payment solutions, has been named to Fast Company’s list of the Most Innovative Companies in the Sports category. The list showcases innovation-driven businesses across multiple industry sectors that are making an outsized impact on their individual companies, their business sectors and society at large.
“TAPPP is thrilled to be recognized by Fast Company as one of the top innovators in the sports sector. Our vision from the start was to help revolutionize the sports viewing experience, supporting a wide range of interactive features, gaming options, data, e-commerce, and real-money wagering,” said Sandy Agarwal, Founder & CEO at TAPPP.
In June 2022, TAPPP launched a first-of-its-kind, interactive gaming application with Major League Rugby and The Rugby Network. TAPPP became the first company to seamlessly integrate a free-to-play gaming application with a real-time sports-wagering product, presented simultaneously on a single-screen alongside a live sports broadcast. The single-screen betting technology made it possible for viewers to access sports betting data in a live broadcast environment and place authenticated bets via approved sportsbooks directly on their viewing device.
“We are committed to making it more fun and engaging for sports fans to watch games in environments and on screens where they are most comfortable. We’ve made big strides over the last twelve months and have even more exciting features on the way, including an e-commerce application that will enable merchants to offer goods and services directly to sports fans and complete transactions in a single-screen environment,” Mr. Agarwal added.
TAPPP raised $10 million in a Series B funding round, early last year. The round was led by Accomplice, Advantage, and Verance Capital. Several professional sports team owners also invested in the round, including Stephen Pagliuca of the Boston Celtics and Peter Tomozawa of the Vegas Golden Knights and Seattle Sounders.

Tonybet player in Canada claims $20,000 CAD golden World Cup card prize
Tonybet says a player in Laurier-Station, Canada has claimed the “golden card” prize worth $20,000 CAD in the operator’s World Cup Card Collection. The announcement was made Tuesday 21st July 2026.
The World Cup collection featured 51 cards in total, including 48 digital cards representing participating World Cup nations, plus three unique prize cards in bronze, silver and gold. Tonybet said the bronze card—available during the group stage—was previously found by a customer in Saint-Colomban, Canada, while the silver card—available during the knockout rounds up to the quarter-finals—was won by a player in County Kildare, Ireland.
The golden card became available for the semi-final, third-place play-off and final, and has now been claimed, Tonybet said.
Tonybet Head of Product Kiryl Liudvikevich said: “You can plan a campaign down to the last detail, but you can’t plan what the World Cup brings.
“We designed the collection to evolve with the tournament, and every knockout round created new stories we couldn’t have predicted. Seeing players complete their collections and discovering who would uncover each prize was the most rewarding part of the campaign.
“I hope everyone enjoyed the experience for what it was meant to be: a fun addition to the tournament, played responsibly and always within their limits.”
Tonybet said the collection will remain open until 31 July for players who are still completing sets and spending coins, although all grand prizes have been awarded.

Greentube goes live in Alberta as province opens regulated iGaming
Supplier secures AGLC registration and extends its Canadian footprint beyond Ontario, where it has been live since 2022.
Greentube has gone live in Alberta on the day the province opened as a newly regulated iGaming market, marking the supplier’s first launch in the jurisdiction.
The NOVOMATIC Digital Gaming and Entertainment division said it completed regulatory and technical due diligence and secured registration with the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) commission to operate in the province. Alberta becomes only the second Canadian province to regulate iGaming after Ontario, with the new framework replacing the monopoly previously held by Play Alberta.
The Alberta launch builds on Greentube’s existing Canadian footprint. The company has been live in Ontario since 2022 and described the Alberta debut as part of its wider North American expansion strategy.
Greentube said Alberta players will initially have access to a curated set of titles including Piggy Prizes
Wand of Riches 2
, Rumble Riches
Haulin’ Gold
and Firecracker Frenzy
Money Toad
, as well as Silver Lux Big Win Spinner, Starlight Jackpots
Captain’s Catch
and Charming Lady’s Boom
.
David Bolas, Commercial Director at Greentube, said: “Going live in Alberta on the day the market opens is an important step for Greentube and reflects the strong momentum we are seeing in Canada.
“We welcome the opportunity a new jurisdiction offers and look forward to working with locally licensed operators to introduce our established offering to players in Alberta. With a balanced line-up of new releases and proven performers, we are well placed to offer a compelling experience in the province and support our long-term ambitions in the region.”
