The new sports betting and igaming law has come into force in Connecticut, as Governor Ned Lamont signed the bill to legalize online sports betting and igaming.

The law approves the agreement between Lamont and Mashantucketand Mohegan tribes in March, which offers permission to the tribes to start sports betting service at land-based sportsbooks in casinos within the state and through their online platform.

The tribes can start igaming and fantasy sports contests too.

The Connecticut Lottery Corporation too can run one skin for sports wagering outside tribal lands and retail betting at 15 locations.
