The Winners Enclosure, Checkd Media’s horse racing betting community, has signed expert racing pundit and former jockey Emma Spencer as a Racing Broadcaster.

Spencer will host a range of racing video content and share insights and opinions on all the upcoming high-profile racing, including the Grand National and Flat season.

Spencer hosted two weekly shows building up to the 2021 Cheltenham Festival for The Winners Enclosure, partnering up with Betfair’s Barry Orr and racing analysts Chris and Martin Dixon. The content was released across The Winners Enclosure’s social channels, incorporating partner campaigns such as Betfair’s Race to Cheltenham and MansionBet’s Cheltmas activity.

Checkd Media’s The Winners Enclosure and Oddschanger brands reached over 69 million accounts on social media during the course of the Cheltenham Festival. Over 500,000 people viewed the content and there were 310,212 website sessions across four record-breaking days.

One of the UK’s top racing presenters, twice-winning champion amateur flat jockey Spencer was lead presenter for Channel 4 Racing where she covered the Derby and Royal Ascot, as well as overseas contests including the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe and the Melbourne Cup.

Emma Spencer, The Winners Enclosure Racing Broadcaster, said: “I’m delighted to be continuing my partnership with The Winners Enclosure and looking forward to a busy Aintree Festival and Grand National. Let’s hope I can give some good insight and tips! I’m also looking forward to building on our filmed content and previews heading into the new 2021 flat season.”

Will Tyrrell, Head of Marketing at Checkd Media, said: “Emma Spencer is one of the most recognisable personalities the sport of horse racing has to offer, so it is a major coup for The Winners Enclosure to have her on board to help promote the brand.

“With Emma’s help our Cheltenham Festival content had over 830,000 views and we look forward to working together again for future meetings, starting with the Grand National Festival at Aintree.”
