Caesars Entertainment Announces Investment in DFS Platform SuperDraft
Caesars Entertainment has announced a strategic investment in the daily fantasy sports platform SuperDraft.
With the investment, Caesars takes an initial minority equity position with an option to increase its stake over time up to 100% at pre-determined levels. The partnership positions SuperDraft as an exciting new option and dominant force in the daily fantasy sports industry.
“The addition of daily fantasy sports fits seamlessly with our strategic vision for mobile and online sports. SuperDraft’s innovative multiplier game mode is unique in the marketplace, and we believe it offers a tremendous opportunity to strengthen our position in the sports gaming landscape,” Tom Reeg, CEO of Caesars Entertainment, said.
As part of the investment, SuperDraft will join Caesars’ online brands, World Series of Poker, Caesars Online Casino, and, upon the acquisition’s close, William Hill, as part of a full slate of mobile and online gaming channels.
“We’re super excited to be part of Caesars’ powerful gaming ecosystem. Daily fantasy players deserve a breath of fresh air, and we’re here to transform the industry. SuperDraft is now well-positioned to accelerate its growth with financial staying power while broadening its consumer appeal with bigger contests and better rewards to players of all interest levels,” Steve Wang, CEO and Founder of SuperDraft, said.
“Caesars is a strong strategic partner that will allow us to further enhance our industry-leading tech stack and provide an enhanced player-first experience. Now SuperDraft can adapt to the market faster than the institutional daily fantasy providers, while providing our players with unmatched prizes, loyalty rewards, and exclusive VIP opportunities,” Nate Hunter, CTO and Co-Founder of SuperDraft, said.

Caesars Entertainment Officially Unveils Revamped Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino
Caesars Entertainment has officially opened the completely transformed Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe.
The resort hosted an evening designed to match the scale of its transformation, welcoming guests with a champagne reception before a ceremonial ribbon-cutting with longtime partner Lisa Vanderpump, culminating in a celebratory moment in the stunning Caesars Republic lobby.
The party continued at the all-new Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords with live rock n’ roll performances by Tahoe Tommy and Pier Pressure and immersive artistic moments that turned the lounge into a dynamic, multisensory experience.
The grand opening marks the conclusion of a sweeping, multi-phased transformation of the former Harveys Lake Tahoe, one that honors its legacy while redefining the experience for a new generation of travelers. From the moment guests arrive, they encounter a fully reimagined lobby, a modernized casino floor and a collection of venues that bring fresh energy, design and sophistication to the heart of the South Shore.

“Our vision was to take everything guests have loved about this destination for decades and revitalize it through a more modern, design-forward lens. The result is a resort that feels vibrant, elevated and unmistakably Tahoe, whether you’re here for the views, the dining or the moments you can’t get anywhere else,” said Karie Hall, SVP and General Manager of Harrah’s and Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe.

Caesars Entertainment Expands its Partnership with Three Wabanaki Nations
Caesars Entertainment has announced the expansion of its existing partnership with three Wabanaki Nations: the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians, the Mi’kmaq Nation and the Penobscot Nation, to include online casino gaming in Maine. The long-term agreement positions Caesars and its tribal partners for a potential iGaming launch in the state in 2026, pending regulatory approvals.
Under the expanded agreement, Caesars plans to bring a portfolio of three online casino brands to Maine: Caesars Palace Online Casino, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino and Horseshoe Online Casino. Each brand offers a distinct digital experience tailored to different player interests.
This expanded partnership builds on the successful launch of Caesars Sportsbook in Maine in 2023 and reflects the shared commitment between Caesars and the three Wabanaki Nations to deliver a best-in-class, responsible digital gaming experience while supporting tribal communities across the state. Caesars will invest in local workforce development by employing, training and developing members of each nation and will provide meaningful financial support to help fund tribal community programmes and initiatives.
“As we look ahead to the launch of online casino gaming in Maine, we’re proud to expand our partnership with the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians, the Mi’kmaq Nation and the Penobscot Nation. Together, we’ve built a strong and responsible sports wagering experience, and this next phase reinforces our commitment to our tribal partners and to delivering a differentiated, localized digital gaming experience for Mainers. We’re grateful to Gov. Janet Mills, the Maine Legislature and the Maine Gambling Control Unit for their continued leadership and thoughtful approach to gaming in the state,” said Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital.
“Penobscot Nation is proud to continue and expand our partnership with Caesars as we look toward the future of online gaming in Maine. Our experience working together on sports wagering has demonstrated the value of aligning with a partner that respects our sovereignty, understands our communities and is committed to long-term success for the Wabanaki Nations. This next phase represents a meaningful opportunity to build on that foundation,” said Chief Kirk Francis of the Penobscot Nation.
“The Mi’kmaq Nation values the strong relationship we have built with Caesars and our fellow Wabanaki partners. Expanding into online casino gaming allows us to continue creating economic opportunities for our people while ensuring that any future platform is developed in a responsible, well-regulated manner that benefits the tribes and the state,” said Chief Sheila McCormack of the Mi’kmaq Nation.
“The Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians is pleased to deepen our partnership with Caesars as we prepare for the next chapter of gaming in Maine. This long-term agreement reflects our shared commitment to strengthening Maine’s rural communities and is vital to the Houlton Band’s self-determination and economic self-sufficiency. Internet gaming revenues will provide our tribal government with a more secure, long-term source of revenue that will help us provide essential services and make critical investments in community infrastructure,” said Chief Clarissa Sabattis of the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians.
Caesars’ online casino platforms will bring a premier digital entertainment experience to Maine, combining an expansive portfolio of slot titles, table games and live dealer offerings, subject to regulatory approvals, with seamless technology and user-friendly design. Each brand is tailored to meet different player preferences while upholding Caesars’ high standards for quality and Responsible Gaming. The platforms in Maine will integrate with Caesars Sportsbook and feature a single login and wallet experience, powered by Caesars’ Universal Digital Wallet, enabling seamless play across Caesars’ digital offerings.
Integrated with Caesars Rewards, the company’s industry-leading loyalty programme, eligible play will unlock Reward Credits that can be redeemed for unforgettable experiences across Caesars’ destinations nationwide, including stays, dining, entertainment and more.
