Our personal thank you note for attending Prague Gaming Summit 2020

Published

on

With our largest ever Prague Gaming Summit in the rear-view mirror, I’d like to take the time to thank every one of our friends, attendees, and partners who made this year truly special!

While fears around the COVID-19 virus played their part, I am absolutely delighted by not only the excellent precautionary work our team took but also in our collective decision to ensure that we as an industry were able to come together and share our knowledge.

From marketing to compliance, regulation and social gaming as well as diversity, our collaboration among some of Eastern Europe’s brightest minds has started a gaming family that we look forward to hosting for many more years to come.

The speaking tracks were absolutely fantastic, with light shed on new markets, technology, and opportunities, and I hope that every one of our fellow attendees came away with as much new knowledge as we did.

From all of us at European Gaming, I’m thrilled to say that we are honored to have the opportunity to work with each and every one of our industry peers.

Of course, from our team, I’d like to take the time to give a special shout out to our team members, Andrada and Alex, who now know what we’re capable of. A big hand of course also to our legendary content gurus, George, Niji, and Vlad, all of whom have played a huge role in our rapid rise to prominence over the past years.

Next up for us will be the MARE BALTICUM Gaming Summit, as well as the Baltic and Scandinavian Gaming Awards, all set to take place on the 7th of May in Tallinn, Estonia. With a star-studded list of guests, we’ll be honored to welcome plenty of regional regulators to offer their first-hand insight, as well as a brilliant content track with everything from cross-promotions, new betting markets, the latest tech and of course, EURO 2020!

During March, we’ll also be opening registrations for CEEGC Penta Budapest, and for our much-anticipated European Gaming Congress 2020 in Athens. Of course, do stay tuned for more announcements! We might pull a rabbit out of the hat and announce even more events.

In the meantime, from each of us at European Gaming, thank you all and see you soon!

GR8 Tech is adding a knockout dimension to its SiGMA Central Europe presence with Behind the Gloves. On November 3–6 in Rome, booth 5028-2 visitors can take up a challenge and train like a champion with Lee McFarland, iGaming veteran and founder of the Behind The Glove initiative.

Step Into the Ring

Each day at GR8 Tech’s booth 5028-2, Lee McFarland will lead 15-minute boxing training sessions on specialized pads, giving participants a taste of the discipline, focus, and resilience that define both elite athletes and elite operators. Sessions run:

  • 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Morning knockout slot
  • 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Afternoon power rounds

With a limited capacity of 12 slots per day, pre-registration is required at this LINK. Slots are available for individuals or pairs looking to share the experience.

Champions Train Together

The collaboration between GR8 Tech and Behind the Gloves is a natural fit. Lee McFarland, a British military veteran turned iGaming consultant, created the initiative to combine boxing with corporate wellness and social responsibility, proving that strong businesses are built on strong people and stronger communities.

At Behind The Gloves, we’ve always believed in the power of sport to connect people, energize communities, and tell authentic stories. Partnering with GR8 Tech at SiGMA Central Europe is a natural fit; they’re known as the ‘heavyweight of iGaming,’ and our activations are built around that same spirit of strength, discipline, and drive. Together, we’re creating more than just a stand experience—we’re building a moment that unites delegates through energy, fun, and purpose”, said Lee McFarland.

The activation reinforces GR8 Tech’s Platform for Champions positioning and the elite Heavyweight Club community of operators who are ready to lead, not follow. The company’s boxing-themed booth and partnership with Ready to Fight by Oleksandr Usyk embody the same champion’s mindset: resilience, high performance, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.

Champions don’t talk about performance—they live it,” said Yevhen Krazhan, CSO at GR8 Tech. “Bringing Behind The Gloves to our booth embodies the discipline and drive we build into our technology. If you want to compete at the highest level, you have to train like it.

Where Business Meets the Ring

The Behind The Gloves sessions complement GR8 Tech’s showcase of the ULTIM8 Sportsbook and The Heavyweight Rulebook—a collection of Champions’ Rules gathered from iGaming’s top performers. Together, they create an immersive experience where attendees don’t just learn about championship-level technology—they feel first-hand what it takes to be a champion.

Visit GR8 Tech at booth 5028-2, SiGMA Central Europe 2025 in Rome, November 3–6.

To mark the launch of the 100th brand in 2025, SOFTSWISS, an international technology provider with over 15 years in the iGaming sector, will host a unique live show at SiGMA Central Europe 2025: the pit-stop-style assembly of a sports car, which will be gifted to the client behind the milestone brand on the final event day. This will be the first time a real vehicle is assembled live on the floor of an iGaming expo.

Over the three days of the event, a professional crew will assemble an Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition in real time, transforming SOFTSWISS Stand 4015 into a high-performance pit lane. This full-scale build sets a new bar for experiential engagement in the iGaming industry, giving attendees the opportunity to take part in assembling a sports car themselves.

During the show, professional mechanics will demonstrate how racing technology mirrors the architecture behind SOFTSWISS solutions: real-time analytics, scalable platforms, and automation. This three-day showcase will conclude with a symbolic moment – the gifting of the completed vehicle to the SOFTSWISS partner who launched the 100th brand on the company’s software in 2025. The ceremony starts on 6th November at 13:00 at Stand 4015.

“We believe every milestone is a shared success. Launching 100 new brands this year within the SOFTSWISS ecosystem shows the trust our partners place in us, and we’re proud to celebrate this moment together. This car represents precision, collaboration, and speed, the very values that define both racing and iGaming,” said Olga Resiga, Chief Business Development Officer at SOFTSWISS. “But more than that, this live build is a statement: we don’t just talk about innovation, we put it on display – in motion, in real time, and in front of the entire industry.”

Another major moment of the show will be the unveiling of the 2026 iGaming Trends Report – one of the industry’s most anticipated releases. Created in collaboration with NEXT.io, the report will offer a comprehensive outlook on the technology, regulatory shifts, and market dynamics shaping the industry.

The launch will take place on 5 November from 12:00 to 16:00 CET during the 2026 iGaming Trends Marathon by SOFTSWISS at Stage 2: People, Partners & Performance. The four-hour programme will bring together global experts for keynote sessions and panel discussions covering key challenges and opportunities for the year ahead – from regulatory evolution and player engagement to platform scalability and AI-powered operations. Pre-registration for early access to the full report is now open.
