Vermantia has launched a customized Live Sports Channel for OPAP, the leading Greek gaming operator.

The customized offering is based on the aggregation of top-quality live sporting events with a strong betting value, supplied on a proper daily schedule in combination with statistics for each event, along with live odds for in-play betting from the OPAP’s trading unit and live commentary.

Benefitting from the latest in technology via supplier’s market-proven CONNECT platform, OPAP benefits from Vermantia’s flexible solution, combining distribution and content management. As part of the solution, Vermantia designed a Content Management System (CMS) to accommodate OPAP’s need to deliver the best customer experience.

“Customers enjoy live sports, and the better the quality of data and content you provide, the more engaged they will be. Our fully bespoke Live Sports Channel has been designed with this in mind. Not only does it allow our partners to keep their players updated with the latest betting information and engaged with action-packed content, but it also ensures that they have full control of their betting offering. We’re very happy to have delivered this flexible solution for OPAP, our valued partner in Greece,” George Fotopoulos, COO of Vermantia, said.

“Pame Stoixima for the past 20 years is the equivalent of Sports Betting in Greece and is constantly evolving so as to meet its customers’ needs and expectations. We are very happy that Vermantia materialized our idea to launch a Live Sport Channel with constant – real-time content of football, basketball, and tennis; a daily trip around the globe, through sports. With live commentators and overlay graphics displaying markets and odds, we aim to improve even further the betting experience in our shops. I am delighted that we share this ambition with our long-trusted partner, Vermantia, to deliver a top-quality channel,” Thanos Rigas, OPAP Sports Betting Director, said.
