Tequity launches Cross the Lake as 19th Originals game

Tequity has launched Cross the Lake, the 19th title in its Originals portfolio, the company announced.

Cross the Lake is a cash-multiplier game where players guide a frog across lily pads to reach the finish. Players choose between shorter, higher-risk routes and longer, safer paths, with the option to Cashout before the next jump.

Tequity said operators are adopting its Originals suite for high-volume performance and streamlined integration, with fully branded house games able to launch “in as little as one week”. The supplier positioned the games for traffic spikes tied to creator-led promotions and live streams.

Dominic Sawyer, VP Growth at Tequity, said: “Cross the Lake is a perfect example of what makes the Originals series so effective. It takes a simple, intuitive concept and adds layers of tension and player agency. Operators are increasingly looking for content built for the streaming era, where the big win potential and risk-it-all moments create the kind of content that resonates with today’s players. Reaching the 19th title is a testament to the velocity and scalability of Tequity’s technology.”

Tequity also said it now supports over 20 RGS clients and has more than 100 integrations across global regulated markets.

PopOK Gaming has obtained certification for the Portuguese iGaming market, adding Portugal to its list of regulated jurisdictions where it can offer compliant gaming content to licensed operators.

The company said the certification confirms it meets local regulatory and technical requirements and supports its strategy to expand in regulated markets.

PopOK Gaming did not disclose which regulator or test lab issued the certification, which products are covered, or the date the approval was granted.

Portugal continues to operate a ring-fenced regulated online gambling framework, with market access dependent on product approvals and operator licensing. For suppliers, local certification is typically a prerequisite to distribute content to licensed brands.

Playson has launched BLASTS & RACES, a new global network campaign carrying a €25,000,000 prize pool. The supplier announced the rollout on 1 July 2026, with the campaign running until 30 June 2027.

The initiative follows Playson’s previous Non-Stop Drops & Races edition, which the company said generated record participation from operators and players worldwide. Playson said the new prize pool is up from €10,000,000 in the previous edition.

Operators can opt in at any time during the year-long period, and Playson said no additional integration is required. The company positioned the campaign as a retention tool built around its network engagement mechanics and a mix of top-performing and newly released titles.

As part of the refresh, Playson has renamed several campaign features. Cash Blast is now Power Blast, Tournaments have been renamed Grand Races, and Short Races are now Turbo Races. Playson said the underlying mechanics and integration approach remain unchanged.

Waldemar Antypov, Product Owner at Playson, said: “BLASTS & RACES represents a significant milestone in the evolution of our flagship network campaign, and we are delighted to officially launch it to operators and players around the world.

“Following the outstanding success of previous editions, we have increased the rewards budget from €10 million to €25 million to deliver even greater value across the network. Combined with our trusted engagement mechanics, refreshed campaign identity and seamless operator integration, BLASTS & RACES is designed to keep players engaged with exciting opportunities to win throughout the year.”

Octoplay has secured conditional licence approval from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis Commission (AGLC), allowing the supplier to begin the process of offering its games catalogue to operators in Alberta.

The company said the approval positions it to launch in Canada’s newest regulated iGaming market when it opens in July. Octoplay is already live in Ontario with BetMGM and PokerStars, and has also entered the US through New Jersey and Michigan, according to the company.

“Alberta is one of the most strategic market openings on our 2026 roadmap. Entering it with the performance data we’ve built in Ontario, New Jersey, and Michigan gives us a strong foundation to be one of the first suppliers to partner with local tier-one operators as soon as the market opens,” says Ralitsa Georgieva, CEO at Octoplay.

“We’ve worked closely with the AGLC throughout the licensing process, and clearing the conditional stage reflects the strength of our compliance infrastructure,” says Martina Borg Stevens, Chief Legal Officer at Octoplay. “Our team has built a process that allows us to enter new regulated jurisdictions efficiently without compromising on the technical standards each regulator requires.”

Octoplay said Alberta adds to its regulated footprint, which it stated includes 17 operational markets: the United Kingdom, New Jersey, Michigan, Ontario, Italy, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, Greece, Romania, Malta, Slovakia, Finland, Brazil, and Georgia.
