The Netherlands-based Holland Casino has temporarily closed all its 14 casinos until March 31 to evade the threat of Coronavirus and for complying with the government imposed strict restrictions.

“The health and safety of our guests and employees is always paramount. We therefore respect the measures that are now ordered from the government and RIVM (Dutch Institute of Health). The venues of Holland Casino usually have more than a hundred guests and employees. That is why we take no risks and close all fourteen casinos for the rest of March. As a hospitality company, you prefer not to make such decisions, but we all have a responsibility to make a constructive contribution to resolving this public health situation,” Erwin van Lambaart, CEO of Holland Casino, said.
