Polish one-man indie development team Artur has won the 26th Fan Favorite voting round at the Game Development World Championship 2021 with card collecting mecha battle game Jupiter Moons: Mecha. The game has a free demo available on Steam with full release coming.

“Choose your mech, customize your loadout, and build your perfect deck. Experiment with cards to find powerful combinations as you enjoy the tactical combat and deckbuilding in this roguelike adventure! Jupiter Moons: Mecha puts you in the pilot seat of a bounty hunting mech.”

2nd Place: Gladio and Glory by One man army! from Albania. “A free arena based, beat’em up where you upgrade and customise your gladiator. The gameplay is based on physics simulations where every battle feels fun, fresh and will truly challenge your skills and tactics.”

3rd Place: Phaseshift by Bubblehead Studios from United Kingdom. “Brace yourself for a face-peeling blast through cyberpunk styled locales. Engage in frantic vehicular combat with over 17 highly explosive abilities and weapons. Inspired by Extreme-G, Rollcage, Wipeout and other 90s/00s combat racers.”

All of this week’s top 3 games were developed by one-person development teams. GDWC team congratulates and thanks the winner and all Nominees. GDWC 2021 is going on and each week nine games are up on an open vote, racing for a spot in the Fan Favorite category finals.

Tequity Publishing has launched K-Pop Drop, a Burst Game from Mirror Image Gaming, with an exclusive first release on Stake. The game went live on 11th May 2026 and will be available only on Stake initially, before expanding to Tequity’s wider operator network the following week.

According to the companies, K-Pop Drop is an anime-inspired Burst Game featuring escalating multipliers and interactive mechanics. The title includes potential multipliers of up to 5000x and follows a character called Sakura as she progresses through gameplay features including boosts, landing zones, bonus triggers, and hazards.

“K-Pop Drop immediately stood out to us as the type of modern, high-energy content we believe is becoming increasingly important within the market,” said Dominic Sawyer, VP Growth at Tequity. “Players today are looking for more interactive, entertaining experiences that feel highly engaging from the first second of gameplay. Mirror Image Gaming has done a fantastic job creating a game with real personality and strong replayability, and we’re excited to launch it first with Stake before rolling it out across the wider network.”
