Project Makeover introduced its own iteration of Battle Pass. The progression for the BP is earned by completing challenges that vary from visiting a friend’s avatar’s room to collecting specific colour board pieces.

PUBG Mobile launched a new game mode called Mission Ignite, transforming the original Erangel map into a more futuristic location with modern trains, air conveyor spots and robot dogs to help in battle. PUBG Mobile also updated how their season system works. Rather than having separate seasons, Cycles run alongside the season system as an “overlaying bigger event”, which naturally rewards players for participating across the Cycle.

Collection mechanics have become staples in many mobile game genres Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is the latest game to join the ranks by adding Chocolate Frogs, collectable cards of famous characters from the Harry Potter world.
