Macau’s Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau, in partnership with the Social Welfare Bureau and the Institute for the Study of Commercial Gaming of the University of Macau, has launched “Responsible Gambling Promotion 2021” to raise the public’s awareness about gambling disorders.

This year’s theme is “Lost Control, Lose Family,” which points to the importance of family education in preventing such disorders.

Local Macau social service organisations will spend the coming months focusing on the promotion of responsible gambling by way of online financial education videos, competitions, family financial management workshops, lectures and more. Macau’s concessionaires will also hold activities to promote responsible gambling messaging to employees, residents and tourists.
